They say home is where the heart is.

Going back as far as I can remember, Novato has been home, and with it comes great memories and even better people.  Nikki is one of those wonderful people I had gotten to know, dating back to the days of Hill Middle School, so I was thrilled to have the opportunity to photograph her wedding, at a hidden gem in Novato (who knew there was a winery in Novato?) no less. 

When I had the opportunity to meet Jake, I quickly realized they couldn't be a better fit.  Together these two are a fun, lovable, and goofy couple with a passionate and genuine love for one another.

The venue was great, the details were splendid, the wedding was beautiful, the couple is amazing, and the party was off the hook.  Don't believe me? Take a look for yourself...

Mary and I first met back at my first real job when the Novato restaurant Hilltop 1892 reopened its doors in 2010 and we were a part of the opening crew.  While it has been quite a while since that summer, when Mary came to me to photograph her wedding reception back in our hometown of Novato, I couldn't say no!  If the party was anything like Mary, it was going to be an awesome one.  Congrats again to Mary, Christian, and their cute little daughter (who was a real hoot throughout the afternoon)!  It was a beautiful day, with a beautifully put together venue, and a beautiful family, needless to say, I had my work cut out for me ;)
