A winter wedding in California.

December in California often brings us crisp air, blue skies, and in San Francisco, less fog. Despite the shorter days, it comes with beautiful winter sunlight that’s softer than your summer high noon sun. This December day was no different and Flora and Victor’s wedding in the San Francisco Presidio was a beautiful event full of exuberance and emotion.

The day began at the Lodge at the Presidio where they held an intimate tea ceremony with their immediate families. We proceeded to the Chapel of our Lady for their ceremony and concluded with a reception at The Commissary. Three diverse spaces, all within walking distance of one another.

What a magnificent afternoon I had with Eva and Ying.  Starting with an always wonderful city hall ceremony, spending some time with their close friends and family, we found ourselves roaming around San Francisco taking awesome photos on the iconic cable cars of the city, among the swaying eucalyptus of the presidio, under the towering columns at the Palace of Fine Arts, and besides the setting sun at Baker Beach.  Seeing the sights and chasing the light, couldn't ask for better way to spend an afternoon with these two (aside from when we almost got attacked by a swan).  Here's a look at what we saw on that beautiful sunny November afternoon...

Danielle and Dave, originally from Ohio, planned for some photos at some iconic areas of San Francisco to share with their friends and family back home.  Beautiful San Francisco,  surrounded by the warm sunny skies of the rest of California, San Francisco in the late Spring and Summer never ceases to amaze with its outstandingly cold and foggy weather.  We were greeted to our shoot by lots of chilly winds and plenty of fog. Nothing more is more iconic than fog I guess! Weather aside, Danielle and Dave were a lot of fun and troopers through the not so ideal conditions. Here's some from the day...
